2017/2018 Premier League Fixtures will be hosted at 3 New Stadiums
The 26th season of the Premier League, which is the most coveted professional English football league or associated football club, 2017/2018 season kickoff is set for August 11th 2017. This season promises to be one of the best with Manchester City’s newly signed Gabriel Jesus and Manchester United’s scoring machine Zlatan Ibrahimovic but with the added venues of Wembley Stadium, Amex Stadium and John Smith’s Stadium.
Wembley Stadium is a 90,000 seat football stadium owned and operated by the English Football Association and is located in Wembley, London, England. Currently Tottenham Hotspurs are renting it to play their home games while their White Hart Lane Stadium is being completely destroyed and a new one erected in its place. The Hotspurs will go head to head with Chelsea on August 20th which promises to be a great game so get your tickets now.
The Amex Stadium, also known as Falmer Stadium, in Sussex, a 30,750 seat stadium home to the Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club. Brighton & Hove Albion FC won automatic promotion in the EFL Championship making their way into the Premier League. They make their debut at Amex Stadium on August 12th against Manchester City. They were given the stadium in 2011 but have never seen a Premiere League game played on the field.
John Smith’s Stadium
Newcastle United FC is not a newcomer to the Premier League but playing their fixtures in Huddersfield West Yorkshire, England is quite unusual to say the least. John Smith’s Stadium, the nearly 25,000 Huddersfield Terrier fans will witness Premier League on August 20th as the Terriers and the Newcastle United face off.
